As a founding partner of eSettlement Solutions in early 2008, Mr. Steinberg had a vision of how a state of the art title and settlement services company should operate. The industry is at a cross roads of change and available technology is making truly exceptional and efficient real estate settlement services a reality. Mr. Steinberg has both a legal and business background in all matters related to real estate, title insurance, real estate finance, mortgage banking and electronic closings.
Since 1995 Mr. Steinberg was Managing Counsel to Metro Closings, Inc. where he directed the operations of a high volume, multijurisdictional real estate settlement practice. He was responsible for the oversight of all aspects over 25,000 closings including commercial transactions, 1031 exchanges, and the standard residential purchase and refinance transactions. Prior to joining Metro Mr. Steinberg was a partner in a Montgomery County law firm. He specialized in both residential and commercial real property transactions. Mr. Steinberg represented clients in all aspects of real estate development projects from feasibility analysis and contract drafting to land acquisition, settlement and environmental remediation.
Mr. Steinberg graduated from Temple University in 1983, earned his law degree from the American University Washington college of Law in 1987, and earned his Masters in Business Administration from American University, Kogod College of Business in 1988.
Mr. Steinberg holds memberships in MAMB, NAMB, NABMB, MSBA, DCBA, MCBA, ABA, MDLTA, and GCAR. He is licensed to practice law in MD, DC, and NJ. He is a licensed title agent in MD, VA, and PA.
